Itinerary of 21 days
We would like to go four different areas to see the pheasant . Taiwan and Fujian,Henan,Sichan of China are included . It is fantastic for birders to see the pheasant during spring ( March and April ) . Let us go to see how they display their feather for mating dace .
D1 - D4 ( Mar. 11 ~ 14 ) : Birding in Taiwan
Focus on the pheasant & Taiwan endemics birds . Target is as following beautiful birds .
- 帝雉 Mikado pheasant
- 藍腹鷴 Swinhoe's pheasant
- 環頸雉 Ring-necked pheasant
- 深山竹雞 Taiwan partridge
- 台灣竹雞 Taiwan bamboo-partridge
D5 ( Mar. 15 ) : Transportation from Taiwan to Fujian
D6 - D9 ( Mar. 16-19 ) : Birding in Fujian ,China
- 白鷳 Silver pheasant
- 白頸長尾雉 Elliot's pheasant
- 黃腹角雉 Cabot's tragopan
- 灰胸竹雞 Chinese bamboo-partridge
D10 ( Mar. 20 ) : Transportation from Fujian to Henan
D11 - D14 ( Mar. 21-24 ) : Birding in Henan ,China
Focus on the pheasant & other local birds
- 河南董寨白冠長尾雉 Reeves's pheasant
- 河南紅腹錦雞 Golden pheasant
- 河南杓雞 Koklass pheasant
- 河南石雞 Chukar
- 環頸雉 Ring-necked pheasant
D15 ( Mar. 25 ) : Transportation from Henan to Sichuan
D16 - D20 ( Mar. 26 - Mar. 30 ) : Birding in Sichuan ,China
